Inspirational Awards Evening at Kineton High School
Kineton High School held its annual awards evening on Thursday 29th March 2012. The ceremony celebrated the outstanding achievements of students in Years 11,12 and 13 for the last academic year 2010/11 and truly encapsulated the strong spirit of the school.
Mr David Moorcroft OBE honoured the ceremony as guest speaker. Mr Moorcroft presented the awards and inspired the assembled company with words on the Olympic values of respect, excellence and friendship, and with his stories emphasising the importance of ambition, determination and achievement for us all.
As well as awards that recognised achievement in individual subjects and tutor groups there were a number of special awards made to students including:

The Diana Award: Ashley Arman, Leyla Buran, Sarah Davies, Callum Graham, George Guice and Robert Lilley were honoured with The Diana Award in the Summer Term 2011.
The Ambassador Award: William Allan – British Schools’ Champion representing the Kineton Shooting Team
