Friends of KHS
The “Friends” consist of a small group of parents who meet every six weeks or so on an informal basis. Our aim is to raise money for the school without too much hard work, whilst socialising and enjoying ourselves! Some of the parents attend regularly, whilst others just come to the occasional meeting or are just willing to help out at events.
Events include barn dances, coach trips, quizzes, discos, Music, Art, Drama and Dance Events (MADD), car boot sales, summer dances and a classical concert in the church. Money is also raised through the “200 Club”. Click on the link below to find out more.
All profits are used to buy equipment and resources requested by individual departments in the school, to enhance the education offered to students. In seven years we have raised in excess of £7000 ! Thank you to everyone who has supported us in the past – please continue!
We would really love to meet ‘new’ parents to help with fund raising. If you are interested or would like further information, please phone Tracy Bainton on 01926 641466.
