About Us

Welcome to Kineton High School where learning is at the heart of all we do.

Our school motto is ‘Learning Excellence for All’.

Based in rural South Warwickshire, we are a caring community secondary school committed to offering all of our students the very best teaching and learning.  We believe that students learn best when they are excited and involved with their subjects, where their learning is tailored to their individual needs and where expectations of them are high.

In 2011 our exam results were a 100% pass rate at A Level, with 82% of Sixth Form students scoring grades A*-C; at GCSE 76% of students achieved 5+ passes with grades A*-C (56% including English and Maths).

Kineton High School was inspected by Ofsted in September 2011 and was graded as good with outstanding features.  The inspection recognised Kineton as a good and rapidly improving school with an outstanding capacity to improve.  Kineton is a place they noted ‘where it is cool to succeed, to play hard, to give of one’s time and talent, and to take the lead’.  They also observed how ‘the good curriculum plays a substantial part in ensuring students succeed’ and ’students enjoy school, feel safe and are actively involved in the school and wider community’.

As a Specialist Sports College sport plays an important part in our school with lessons learnt through sport transferring through to all learning.  We are focused on developing our sporting facilities and now in addition to our sports halls, playing fields and modern fitness suites we have a new floodlit all weather pitch.

We believe in and constantly strive for the highest standards, both academically and in behaviour.  Our students leave us as the citizens of the future well prepared for 21st century life.
